We want to thank you and the thousands of Georgians who used the Georgia Environmental Action Network to urge their elected officials to help conserve the environment.
During the 2008 legislative session, Georgia Environmental Action Network subscribers sent more than three thousand emails to state legislators on issues ranging from protecting the beaches of Jekyll Island to making it easier to enforce the law against ATV riders destroying the banks of our rivers.
Many of you have asked us to provide a wrap-up of how certain bills on which we asked you to take action fared at the end of the legislative session.
We want to continue to hear from you. Tell us how we can improve the Georgia Environmental Action Network.
How can we make it easier to use? Should we send shorter emails? Should we provide more information? Are you interested in more alerts on particular environmental issues? Would you welcome more follow-up emails? Let us know.
